■ 設立目標 Mission

 

培養基礎「語言治療師」及「聽力師」。

To train students to be entry-level Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.

 

■ 緣起 Overview

 

為了因應國內長期照護及早期療育的聽語服務需求,本校聽語系104年核准設立,由北護聽語系培養的人力加入市場,畢業生通過專技高考獲得語言治療師及聽力師證照,可立即就業,貢獻社會。

In order to meet Taiwan’s growing needs in both long-term care and early intervention of communication disorders, the Undergraduate Program of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology at NTUNHS was approved and inaugurated in 2015. Individuals that complete their training through this program and successfully pass the professional examinations are employed as Speech-Language Pathologists or Audiologists.

  1. 提供「語言治療師考照課程」及「聽力師考照課程」。
  2. 設立「聽語中心」,提供實務教學及臨床研究。
  3. 提供國際學術交流及技術合作。
  4. 提供聽語社區服務,將課程與社區資源結合。
  5. 推展「聽語實務能力鑑定」,建置聽語實務檢測標準流程,提升國內聽語專業服務之品質。

  1. We provide coursework for the national examinations for “Speech-Language Pathologist " and " Audiologist".
  2. We maintain a “Speech and Hearing Center" to provide in-house clinical training and research.
  3. We provide international academic exchanges and technical cooperation.
  4. We combine coursework with community service.
  5. We promote the "Assessment of Hearing Practice Ability", establish a standard process for hearing practice testing, and improve the quality of domestic hearing professional services.
   
 

■ 修業年限與學位 Study Period and Bachelor's Degree

 

本系課程規劃為四年。
大三分組,語言治療組學生修習「語言治療師學程」課程,聽力組學生修習「聽力學師學程」課程。

The Department’s undergraduate curriculum is a four-year program.

In the third year, the curriculum separates by specialty: Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.

 
 

 

 

■ 未來出路 Prospects

 

合格的聽力師和語言治療師的工作領域包括:醫院、學校、復健中心、早期療育機構、護理之家、安養中心、助聽器公司、衛生機構、特殊學校、特殊教育機構等,亦可自行開業,創設聽語所或語言治療診所,服務聽語障礙人士

Qualified Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists work in hospitals, schools, rehabilitation centers, early care institutions, nursing homes, nursing centers, hearing aid companies, health institutions, special schools, special education institutions, etc. They can also be self-employed and establish a speech and hearing center or a speech-language therapy clinic to serve people with communication disorders.

   
 

■ 服務內容 Services

 

語言病理組畢業生具備的專業能力包括:

  1. 兒童語言,言語及吞嚥障礙評估、治療與研究
  2. 成人語言,言語及吞嚥障礙評估、治療與研究
  3. 職業嗓音評估、治療與保健
  4. 溝通輔助器的設計、運用與研究

聽力組畢業生具備的專業能力包括:

  1. 兒童及成人聽力評估與研究
  2. 助聽器或人工電子耳功能評估、選配與研究
  3. 聽能創健與復健的專業能力與研究
  4. 噪音與聽損及聽能保健的評估與研究

 The professional competencies of Speech-Language Pathology graduates include:

  1. The evaluation and treatment of swallowing disorders and related aerodigestive functions, including chronic cough and voice disorders.
  2. The evaluation and treatment of speech disorders, including problems with articulation, prosody and stuttering.
  3. The evaluation and treatment of language disorders, including problems with reading, writing, grammar and pragmatics, in children and adults.
  4. The evaluation and treatment of communication disorders, including problems with social communication, emotional communication, and the use of communication aids.

 The professional competencies of Audiology graduates include:

  1. Hearing assessment and research in children and adults.
  2. Hearing aid or cochlear implant function evaluation, matching, and research.
  3. The professional ability and research in hearing ability creation and rehabilitation.
  4. Assessment and research of noise, hearing loss and hearing care.
